Berry Hwachae with Strawberry Milk

Try this healthy summer dessert, Korean fruit punch with watermelons, berries, and strawberry milk!

Ingredients
  

Hwachae Base
  • 2 lbs A whole small watermelon 0.9 kg, half a small watermelon
  • 1 cup Oat milk
  • 1/4 cup Powder sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
Berries
  • 0.5 lbs Raspberries 250 g
  • 0.5 lbs Blueberries 250 g
  • 0.5 lbs Strawberries 250 g
Garnish (Optional)
  • 3 sprigs Mint
  • 1/2 cup Ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Prepare all the fruits and a small watermelon. My watermelon weighed about 4 pounds. Wash all the berries and watermelon.

  2. Cut the watermelon in half. Cut the strawberries into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Take the flesh out of the watermelon with a spoon. Store the watermelon pieces in the fridge.

  4. Add the milk, sugar, salt, and 1/2 cup of strawberry pieces to the watermelon bowl. Blend everything using a stick blender. Blend until smooth.

  5. Add the rest of the berries to the bowl. Cover it and chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

  6. Take it out and serve it with the watermelon pieces. Garnish it with mint sprigs or ice cubes. Serve it in a bowl. Enjoy!
