Wash 5 or 6 ripe pears. Core and cut into smaller pieces. Blend it with a blender and make it into a puree.
It should make 2 cups of pear puree.
Mix the date sugar, salt, and vanilla extract with the pear puree.
Pour the base into an empty CREAMi pint. Place the storage lid on a pint and freeze for 24 hours.
Remove the pint from the freezer and remove the lid from the pint. Place the pint into the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker.
Select SORBET. Run the program.
Optionally, you can add the candied ginger now. With a spoon, create a 1 1/2-inch-wide hole that reaches the bottom of the pint. Add candied ginger pieces to the hole in the pint and run the MIX-IN program.
When processing is complete, remove the sorbet from the pint.
Serve immediately. Yum!
