Best Lemon Sorbet Recipe

A classic lemon sorbet recipe: Zesty, lemony, refreshing, and sweet!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Lemon purée About 3 medium-sized lemons
  • 2/3 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Substitute it with erythritol for the no-added-sugar recipe (link in the post)
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 drops Yellow food coloring Optional

Equipment

  • 1 Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker
  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Zester

Method
 

  1. Prepare five medium-sized lemons. Wash them thoroughly.
  2. Grate the lemon skin and make 1 teaspoon of lemon zest.
  3. Cut all the lemons in half and take out the seeds. Peel the skin.
  4. First, blend the peeled lemon in a blender and make 1 cup of lemon purée.
  5. Into the CREAMi pint, add the prepared lemon purée and zest. Add the remaining ingredients, like sugar, water, and salt. Mix well. Let it sit for 30 minutes until everything is dissolved.
  6. Place the storage lid on a pint and freeze overnight, about 10 hours. To ensure the best result, wait for 24 hours.
  7. Remove the pint from the freezer and remove the lid from the pint. Place the pint into the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker.
  8. Select SORBET. Run the program.
  9. When processing is complete, remove the sorbet from the pint.
  10. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
