Best Taro Latte Recipe

Make this delicious taro latte in both hot and iced methods!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Taro powder
  • 1/4 cup Fresh taro Cooked
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Soymilk Can be substituted with any milk of your choice
To Make Hot Taro Latte
  • 1 shot Espresso
  • 1 handful Marshmallow Optional
To Make Iced Taro Latte
  • 2/3 cup Ice cubes
  • 1 shot espresso or 1/3 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1/3 cup Whipped cream Optional

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Boba straw

Method
 

How To Cook Taro
  1. Prepare some taro. One small taro should be sufficient for this recipe. Peel the taro skin with a knife.
  2. Bring a pot and fill it up with water. Heat the water and bring it to a boil. When it starts to boil, add the peeled taro.
  3. Cook the taro for 20 minutes. Take it out once it’s cooked and soft.
Hot Taro Latte Recipe
  1. Add 1/4 cup of each taro powder, cooked taro, water, and milk of your choice into a blender Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour it into a pot and heat it until simmer.
  3. Make a shot of espresso in the meantime.
  4. Pour the taro mixture into a cup. Add the shot of espresso on top.
  5. If you like, add some marshmallows on top. Serve hot. Enjoy!
Iced Taro Latte Recipe
  1. Add 1/4 cup of each taro powder, cooked taro, water, and milk of your choice into a blender Blend until smooth.
  2. Prepare a long glass and add some ice. Pour the taro mixture over the ice.
  3. Make a shot of espresso or 1/3 cup of cold brew. Pour it on top of the glass.
  4. Optionally, you can add some whipped cream on top.
  5. Mix well right before serving. Enjoy!
