Black Cherry Ice Cream Recipe

A wonderful blend of rich, creamy, sweet vanilla ice cream and tart, fruity cherry chunks!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Black cherries, pitted Frozen or fresh
  • 1 cup Oat milk You can use whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Plant-based Cream You can use dairy cream
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Can be substituted with erythritol with monk fruit
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker

Method
 

  1. Prepare 1 cup of either frozen or fresh black cherries. They should be pitted.
  2. Take 1/4 cup of sugar and mix it with the black cherries. Set aside for 30 minutes. It should have some sweet black cherry juice oozing out of the cherries.
  3. Take the juice out of the cherries and pour the cherry juice into a bowl. In a separate container, put the cherries and store them in a fridge.
  4. In a bowl, pour the remaining ingredients, such as milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and the black cherry juice from the cherries. The vanilla base with cherry juice should be light pink and beautiful!
  5. Then, pour the base into an empty Ninja Creami pint. Place the storage lid on a pint and freeze for 24 hours.
  6. Remove the pint from the freezer and remove the lid from the pint.
  7. Select LIGHT ICE CREAM on the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker.
  8. Then, remove the pint and make a hole inside the ice cream.
  9. Now, take out the black cherry meats and chop them roughly. Add the chopped cherries inside the hole. Select MIX-IN.
  10. When processing is complete, remove the ice cream from the pint and serve immediately. Enjoy!
