Coconut Milk Matcha Latte (Iced & Hot)

Try this creamy and flavorful matcha latte with coconut milk!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Full-Fat Coconut Milk

Equipment

  • 1 Sift Small
  • 1 Chasen or handheld milk frother

Method
 

For Iced Coconut Milk Matcha Latte
  1. Sift 1 tablespoon of matcha powder into a small bowl.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and whisk with either a chasen or frother until smooth and frothy.
  3. Fill a glass with ice cubes. You can pour cold coconut milk directly onto the glass. You can also whisk the milk first for a smoother texture of coconut milk, then pour it over.
  4. Add powdered sugar into the glass and stir well.
  5. Pour the whisked matcha over the coconut milk.
  6. Stir gently before serving. You can garnish with a sprinkle of matcha or dried coconut flakes. Enjoy!
For Hot Coconut Milk Matcha Latte
  1. Sift 1 tablespoon of matcha powder into a small bowl.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of hot water (about 175°F or 80°C) and whisk with either a chasen or frother until smooth and frothy.
  3. Boil the coconut milk and pour it into a cup. You can also whisk the milk first for a smoother texture of coconut milk, then pour it over.
  4. Add powdered sugar to the glass and stir well.
  5. Pour the whisked matcha over the coconut milk.
  6. Stir gently before serving. You can garnish with a sprinkle of matcha or dried coconut flakes. Enjoy!
