Method
- Take a frying pan and put it on medium heat. Once the pan is heated, add two tablespoons of black sesame seeds. Keep stirring the black sesame seeds so they are toasted evenly.
- Toast the seeds for about five minutes while stirring. You will be able to smell the toasted sesame seeds.

- Remove them immediately from the heat once you smell the toasted seeds. Once they are burned, they will be bitter and will smell.
- Pour the sesame seeds into a separate bowl and leave it until it has cooled down.
- Once cooled down, pour the sesame seed into a food processor or blender and blend until fine. It should be blended until fine, but not for too long. Otherwise, it will start to separate oil and become tahini!
- Pour the fine black sesame powder into a separate bowl and pour 1/4 cup of water over it. Mix well until it becomes a smooth paste. Set aside.

- Take a long glass. Fill up the glass with ice cubes.
- Into the glass, pour the unsweetened soymilk or any kind of milk of your choice. Then add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and fiber syrup. Mix everything well with a long spoon.
- Then pour the sesame paste on the top of the milk. Mix roughly for a nice visual presentation.
- Optionally, you can make foam from condensed milk with a milk foamer.
- Mix the sesame paste well before serving. Enjoy!
Tips for a Great Sesame Latte Recipe
1. Sesame Latte with White Sesame Seeds
The most popular way to make a sesame latte is to use black sesame, but you can certainly make a sesame latte with white sesame seeds! White sesame seeds are smoother and softer in texture and taste.

2. Try Warm Sesame Latte
Like any other latté, you can make a warm or iced latte with the sesame latte recipe. Instead of pouring the sesame latte over a glass with ice, hit it up in a pot and bring it to a simmer. Then pour it into a cup. You have a cup of warm sesame latte!
3. Optional Condensed Milk on Top
Last but not least, you can whip up some condensed milk and pour it on top to have an even creamier and richer sesame latte recipe.
NATURES CHARM Sweetened Condensed Oatmilk, 11.25 OZ
This sweetened condensed oat milk tastes amazing without giving me a stomachache! I am lactose-intolerant and therefore try to avoid regular dairy products. And this condensed milk is a life-savor.
I saw some condensed coconut milk, but they can add coconut flavor to your recipe, which is not very preferred when you want the other ingredients to be the center of the flavor. So if you are vegan, or lactose-intolerant, try this condensed oat milk.
4. Add Fiber Syrup
My Syrup Pick
My Normal Keto Allulose 17.1 Fl Oz – Allulose, Monk Fruit and Stevia Blend
Last but not least, I love using my fiber syrup in many of my latte recipes. In Korea, swapping regular syrup with allulose syrup (fiber syrup) is very common for health reasons. It tastes like regular syrup but has lots of fiber, unlike other conventional syrup. The fiber content in the allulose slows down the blood sugar spikes and the calorie is not absorbed into our bodies. Isn’t it amazing? It is also vegan, vegetarian, and keto-friendly.
